Sure I haven't spent time on the autocross or road course, but I at least know whats important to a car, especially our cars. Two months ago you could care less about power, and you were "over whelmed" by the power your car made. You want to put a chevy motor in a car you once were afraid to put a roll bar in because it was "hacking up a rare car". Your car made plenty of power for you, you go to the track one time and now you want 400 HP. Go sit on your gear shifter dude. You dont even come to this meet anymore, dont come to the thread either. Instead, go read and talk to people who can enlighten you as to why a diffuser makes your car better.
Haha ok keep thinking that aerodynamics will really do much to change how your car rides, you'll never go fast enough to notice any real difference. And BTW you misread everything I say and then try to move it around to make yourself sound smart. I know guys with MUCH faster cars than yours, or mine, and they aren't shopping for diffusers, instead they do real mods to their cars to actually make them perform better instead of making up bull**** mods that they will never do. Read what I wrote again, I'm done wasting my time with you, you know little and refuse to learn.

These "faster cars", are they built for sunday night cookouts or are they built for OT?

CN you've told us all youre done with us, especially me. So stop coming back for more. I know guys with faster cars then me to...I have the slowest car on the road. Im totally into making more power, hence why I've been talking to BEGI and the people who run their kits. But I enjoy reading about aerodynamics and the effects it has/can create. And as far as "you'll never go fast enough to notice the difference" and doing mods that actually make the car perform better, you should read up on the APR GT wing. Its been known and proven to shave off up to 2.5 seconds off of lap times on the road course. I dont know about you, but to me and the rest of the world that's a LOT. Full under body diffusers and pans have been proven to cut times down by a second or so. You're looking at shaving almost 4 seconds off of a lap time. If that's not improving performance, design teams must be retards. People who test them must be foolish and people who buy them must be ignorant. OO and it helps on the DD roads aswell. + MPG FTW

Aero works, but as your car sits now, it's going to do nothing but add rice factor to it. If you had high power, sure aero would help especially with the short wheelbase of our cars, but doing it to a stock 1.6L is just dumb.

It makes no difference to me though, for all I care you can rub yourself down in peanut butter and skate with the Flyers at the next game.

How do you base your comments? That aerodynamics only work if you have high power? How do you back that asinine ignorant and false information up?

BTW, you tried to hard with this one "for all I care you can rub yourself down in peanut butter and skate with the Flyers at the next game." Might want to slow your roll a little.

Read it again, obviously my writing skills are far too advanced for you.

And dude, I really don't care what you or anyone else here thinks of me, I don't need the praise of people on some website to feel good about myself.

Yes CN, your so wise. Nobody can even understand your complex thoughts and writing style. Its like dealing with Einstein. Maybe thats why nobody likes you, you're simply to smart for all of us. You should design F1 cars with all the knowledge in your mind. Please, teach us more?

Are you gay? Cause you're still on my dick...I told you already, I don't care. I don't care about you, or your friends, or your car, or this meet, or this thread. I've got better things to do than sit here and talk to a wall. As funny as your posts are, I'll just ignore them from now on. When in doubt, refer to my sig.

The only things he has said he was going to do and hasn't are turbo (he's waiting to buy a "china charger" LOL) and a rollbar. If anyone is a dreamer it's CN. He dreams of going faster to generate more G forces and cutting 2.0 60's with a downpipe.

Ummmmmmmmm..... ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Aero is extremely important, and the less power a car has the MORE important it is, somehow no one realizes how important it is so there aren't many parts made to improve it. The writing on the wall is there too, racing teams spent millions on tweaking every little bit of their cars and it makes a HUGE difference, and we're not just talking 7,000 mile an hour cars either, the national winning autocross cars that don't get over 40 mph have aero improvements that they will all tell you make a huge difference.

The cold hard fact is that better aero gets you better gas mileage, free power above 30 - 40 mph, and stability at higher speeds. The problem is that %99 of the aero has already been done for us by the manufacturers of our cars, but there are things that can be done that will and do make a noticeable difference. Just like they proved on Myth Busters, you actually can polish a turd.

When something has foibles and won't handle perfectly, that gives it a particularly human quality as it makes mistakes. That's how we can build a relationship with a car that other people just won't get - Jeremy Clarkson

As sean said..there are a few things I havent dont, but talked about. Here is the list, and reasons why.
Elise seats. Great idea, really thought about it. Even sourced a set. BUT there are no mounts on the market yet. The guy made a set of mounts, but is in college to get his DR and hasnt made the jig yet to commercially sell them. Seats are on hold.
Roll Bar. I cant get a roll bar until i get seats. Im to tall, and my head would be above the rollbar with my current seating position. Pretty much defeats the purpose of a roll bar.
So everyone who likes to attack motorvated can SMD. You dont know what your talking about, at all. I see nothing wrong with talking about mods you like to do. Thats how you decide what you want. Pick something you like, think and talk about it. Decide if its the best option, or if there is something better. Its not very smart to just jump the gun and buy everything you want. Thats how you make mistakes and end up with the wrong parts. Sorry for having a set idea of what I want, and having the brain to research and see what will work for me. So to say im a "dreamer" is just stupid. Everything ive said i wanted, has been done or is in the works. I have more responsibilities then spending my money on car parts. Sorry, sometimes car parts arent #1 on the list. If you want to have 400HP and live in your parents Row Home when your 24, thats fine for you. I on the other hand, have a life and a plan to achieve. So buying parts just so the Russians will STFU, isnt really something I care about.
