Hey all, happened upon the site looking for car stuff in the area. I'm originally from Lancaster but just bought a house in Hatfield recently. My girlfriend and I are pretty much car nuts. Between us we have my 1996 BMW M3 in arctic silver which I've had for years and years now. It had the head gasket done by yours truly 2 years and 22,000 miles ago but unfortunately it's seeping oil out the side and I figure now I'll get the bottom done this time (instead of just the top) and make the engine brand new. Maybe I can put in some low compression pistons in prep for a turbo kit and a tiny little 450HP. It still goes like a bat out of hell as is, that's for sure. I put the M3 away in the winter and drive my 1995 3000GT beater car. That thing is a blast. My girlfriend is currently driving her 1999 BMW 323. I also have a 2000 Suzuki bandit which despite not being quite as fast as the M3 is also a blast.

Anyway, I'll probably go to the montgomeryville sonic run and meet people hopefully. This group seems great... looking forward to good times.

I did, I'll be there. And thanks for the comment about the m3. I love that stupid car. I should probably get rid of it due to the mileage but it looks and feels great still. Anyone coming can check it out if I don't ride the motorcycle.

Thanks for all the welcomes. I've been doing a little digging and found that TST was the group that was meeting at Borders in Montgomeryville last year. I actually thought about dropping by to say hi but I didn't know who anyone was and didn't know if it was just a bunch of high school kids or what ;) It really sucks that it (and several other meets that would have been nice and local to me) got shut down.

You know in the DIY scene there are these "hacker workspaces" people open where basically it's a shared space to work on their projects. Seems like something like that (with a lift) would be good for this group too ;) I don't know how good people are at paying their bills here yet though ;) I've toyed with buying that abandoned shop across from Wawa in Montgomeryville (202 and 63)
