How was the drive up? I'm thinking about going up to Montreal for a few days since the only place i've been in Canada is Niagra Falls. I've had people rave about the bagels up there. I might just take my bike with me and do some cycling. I will def be bringing back some beer (Unibroue and Alexander Keiths).

The drive up wasnt too bad since it was fall and going through the mountains you could see all the leaves different colors. It was pretty much all highway and when you start getting more north the roads clear up. So if you drive up during the day it is a good chance you can make good timing. Mapquest says 7.5 hours and we made it in around 6.

I remember the pancakes were amazing!

We were going to go a second time but about half way up it started snowing heavily and forecasts were bad so we turned around. On the way back I swear I hit a wolf. No one believes me but it was in the middle of nowhere and something bigger than a dog ran out in front of the car. I was doing 60 or something so I didnt get a real good look and the passenger was sleeping and it was gone by the time I pulled over.

You do not need a passport if you're going by land or sea before June 1st. You need a passport by air right now, but starting June 1st you'll need a passport to get there no matter how you travel.

I'm going up May 1st 2nd and 3rd with some friends of mine.

Looking to go to Canada this summer but I want to drive there. I'll be taking the Miata. Not really looking for things to do in Canada cause I can find that, but more-so looking for ways to get there. Sightseeing on the way up, good roads, etc. Basically if you've done the drive before, post up and let me know what's a good way to take.
