I did it when I had my n/a MR2. I could go 1-5 and 5-1. It was cool, but I don't like doing it.

I rev match when driving normally. At the track the gas doesn't leave the floor.

haha tried to shift from 2nd to 3rd with my knee in my brothers car being i had coffee in one hand and cell phone in the other. it didnt work as planned

Fingertip flick 1-2, backward palm push 2-3, fingertip flick 3-4, backward palm push 4-5. And if I'm not paying attention, I'll try to shift into 6th........

But when its just me, i just kinda grab the top of the shaft and pull it to where I desire

I step on the clutch, then pull the shifter from 1st gear down to 2nd gear. Let go of clutch. Step on gas. Rev up to 4000rpm, step on clutch again. Push Shifter up to 3rd gear, let go of clutch. Step on gas. And do the same process for other gears.

Har Har... I shift like someone whole likes replacing transmissions. Damn LGT pistol grip. But naw, I shift pretty slow through the gears with two fingers on the shifter.

me too.

I haven't even been driving stick for a year yet. I dont use weird finger flick stuff to go into gear though. I just grab it and put it into gear. I might use my palm to go into third though.

Palm w/ a slight grasp into First

Palm on the front of the shifter and pull back into second

Palm push into 3rd

Cup fingers in front to go into 4th

Same palm push from 3rd to go into 5th.

i usually do the finger flick from 1-2 and from 3-4 and the palm push from 2-3 and from 4-5. I also do some weird thing that when i have the clutch in coasting to a stop sign or a red light i always put it into second until i come to a complete stop, then i put it into first. I taught my one friend how to drive stick and he does this too.

yes, except my red line is about 4k so it really winds out, usually happens in 3rd gear ill be on the highway thinking its 5th
