Cool Heyyy I got my waiver.

Back in January I went to basic for the army, sent home in March to get a waiver due to their mistake's, got my waiver and now am in the USMC. Hoping to not experience as much bs in basic than what I saw in the Army.

Yeah, my Marine friend always makes fun of Army people because of their lack of discipline and pride. If you are going to serve, you might as well take pride in what you are doing. And, while there is no doubt in my mind that there are plenty of Army personnel that take pride in their branch, Marines just seem to be a more coherent unit as a whole.

Oh i know man my good friend is in the Marine's and when I got out of the Army I was just hating life here, once you go in you don't want to leave, from what I experienced at basic for the Army, it is quitepossibly the weakest thing for them to take away high stress , they have only medium and low stress drill sergents, and it's like a game. I know I will love the Marine's mainly because the tougher side of it, the Army without a doubt should have never taken away high stress drill sergent's, i honestly dont know how you can make someone more disciplined by making them do 50 pushups then letting them rest, and talking like my grandma to me.

Yea stick's you know my story with this haha, i mean I enjoyed basic through the army I just disagree with them taking high stress d.i's away. basic stories from other people are lie's, basic is one of the most fun experiences to have.

I mean im not gonna sit here and down talk to ANYONE in the armed forces because they are a better person then myself. I have much more to live for than dying in a useless war that a president who wanted to show how big his peepee is started and dropped the ball on not to mention blowing tons of money when it wasnt needed.

And dont think because i wont go into armed forces im not patriotic i just would like to see my 2 year old daughter graduate college one day. But i would definitely go into the core if i ever wanted too!

exactly what happened? did you complete boot camp? what was it like honestly without being biased? i always see the marine boot camp on the military channel and the navy seals but i never see army navy or airforce basic training.

that would suck getting waived after going, it already takes alot of balls and sacrifice going, and not being able to finish, i couldnt even imagine the disappointment.

I have to get a waiver for one of my eye's because my vision isn't to their standard's and glasses didnt correct it. Basic is fun I won't lie one bit, for red phase you will get smoked everday but I mean your getting in shape and after week 1 you can tell a difference, our batter 1/40 delta had medium stress d.i's and its not bad at all.

im pretty confused.

you went to basic training for the army, completed it, they kicked you out because your eyes are bad, and now your a marine?

or you got a waiver to stay in the army

or you got kicked out half way through basic and now your gonna go to the marines boot camp?

funny enough the army were pricks about my one eye but my scores were good enough for riflesman, the one thing ill tell you now that sucks, is that they can change your mos any time they want and you have to deal with it.

heres all the videos, i think its about 3-4 hours long for the whole thing but its definetly worth it, you will have a whole new respect, makes the marines look like daycare.
