Pot smoker starts thread about pot

non-pot smoker says they don't really care about pot smoking one way or the other, but it is illegal and you should be prepared to face the consequences regardless of who you are.

pot smokers converge on the thread like a riled up hornets nest and start attacking everything that doesn't smell like weed.

thread gets locked as pot smokers get stuck on pounding one issue into our face over and over again and refuse to listen to any type of logical argument and entire thread goes down in flames

who ever said I'm a pothead? I've smoked in the past, but with my line of work I have to be clean for drug tests. I just thought it was an interesting topic to have a casual discussion about, but apparently both sides are very strong opinioned. OH WELL

I don't understand your reasoning. do you stand by your point because you believe in it, or are you arguing for the sake of it?

You blaming arguing on semantics on me is pretty lame... i only argue when i believe in something... i appreciate the compliment though, more people should be like me. of course, if that were the case we wouldn't be having this discussion and you'd realize that phelps apologizing for smoking weed and the picture of him doing that would be more than enough proof for you.

do I actually believe he didnt smoke weed? nahhh of course he did....but if we wanna argue about it, Ill take the side everyone else isnt (like yourself usually) and argue that he didnt, well because a picture of him hitting a bong is not sufficient evidence.

like I said in my OP, I understand why Kellogs canceled a sponsorship based on that picture alone, so why argue it any further?
