He's looking for all season tires, not extreme summers, the compromise of all seasons is that they sacrifice some grip and laser accuracy for the ability to actually work in all seasons. Mine won me plenty of autocrosses last season and got me through rain, snow, sleet, and hail while being spun by 300+ horsepower and 3600 pounds worth of meaty American steel. There isn't another all season that I've ever seen or used in the past 10 years of driving that can match Proxes 4's and I've been through PLENTY of different tires.

When something has foibles and won't handle perfectly, that gives it a particularly human quality as it makes mistakes. That's how we can build a relationship with a car that other people just won't get - Jeremy Clarkson

Agreed, but maybe I am expecting too much from all seasons with my car, granted I still have a better handling setup than on anything else I've owned but knowing it could be so much better with a better tire is torture.

I'm not at the point to buy tires yet, and I have lots of decision making to do on the tire and size I want, and an alignment too, I'm waiting for spring to do it all. Big reason for that is I still have to get through the winter and I would rather have these proxes than azenis for that.

On the up-side, I can slide pretty easily right now so it's easier to induce some oversteer when I want to, but I do understeer when I don't want to also . Oh well, I just gotta wait it out for now, I'm buying rotors this month and installing my brakes then as well, everything is slowly shaping together.

At least you have another means of transport, this is my one and only car, if it wasn't things may have been very different right now.

because it is the opposite of what I said in james sig.."i cant look gay in a miata"

Good tires is gona be DOPE. I just remembered something. I'll put the Aziens on the new wheels. i STILL have the stock wheels with all seasons. If i want, I can always throw the oems on..and save the aziens for warm weather/Solo 2 events. Damn...win-win. I cant wait to see how this car handles with these tires.
