Canon EOS RebelXS I think...

I came across old camera while cleaning up, and trying to figure out if it has any value. I'm not totally sure of the way to describe it, as I'm not experienced with anything more than cell phone cameras, and trying to find out more through google has proved difficult. I think it has a different lens on it as well.

from what I can tell it is a EOS RebelXS and the lens is a Tamron AF ASPHERICAL XR (IF) 62mm 28-200mm

the camera looks like http://www.mir.com.my/rb/photography...Rebel_XS_3.jpg
except for the different lens on it. Any help is greatly appreciated

If you're trying to figure out what it's worth in order to sell it, figure ~$50 to a reseller and $75 to $100 for a private seller. Very few people have any need for a film body anymore other than students and some professionals. That would make a good camera for a film student, but that's about it.

I hope that helps.

What is the lens mount format? If it takes EF or EFS lenses, I may buy this for if I want to shoot film later.
