Well my se-r is back in one piece with all leaks fixed(new gaskets everywhere), new intercooler piping, and a few other things, so I'll be up this sunday.

DAMN, I was all ready to come out tonight, but sprung a really bad power steering leak.........Its ashame to because the car is running really well.

Hopefully next weekend??

Jonwepa, once you get over like 10mph, you won't even feel a difference. I hear it actually makes steering feel better.

I am really ready to get rid of it since i really only put about 3k miles a year on it( want to be more like 5-6k, but I keep running into dumb issues like this), most being to and from the track and to and from the blvd...

,so I really don't care for it. They have a idler pulley kit for my car, but its 185 and for that price I rather just keep it. And from what I am told you need to keep a pulley there. I am wondering if i could just pull the fuse and leave it there until I feel like spending the money on the eliminator kit.

If you leak all the fluid out and the pump is still being ran....you'll burn the pump out.

At the very least, loop the power steering line on the steering rack.

Yeah I just realized that. The best option is this http://www.gspec.com/p-7340-power-st...ation-kit.aspx I just don't want to spend no stinkin 185 on smething like this....although it will eliminate like 12-14lbs and maybe even free up a few ponies.

I guess I will rubber cement it and then duck tape it and see if that holds for awhile.
