Friend of mine had both of her wrists tatoo'd, and she said it was uncomfortable, but not the worst pain she had getting a tattoo done. Personally, I wouldn't get it done, but that is mostly due to the nature of my job.

I have both arms completely covered, and both ribs almost completely covered as well, also the back of my neck is done. I thought the wrists weren't too bad though. NOTHING compares to getting your ribs done!!!!

P.S...Who's doing it? (Artist/Shop)

Well, I'm gonna bet it's gonna hurt.. but yeah not as bad as other places. I have a few friends with wrist tattoos, they said it wasn't that bad..but they have so many tattoos, I think they could get their lip tattooed and still say it doesn't hurt. One word of caution is though your current job may allow it, heaven forbid if you are in need of a different job... well, it may be something to think about.

hmm, guess my ex is a pussy even though she played rugby on a torn muscle in her leg

she got her wrist tattooed and said it hurt quite a bit... but was over quickly enough.

Its a cool place for a tat, but i'm not sure i'd get something there myself... only because i dunno what i'd get there

thanks for the concern. ive been working in a semi-corporate environment for a while now and wear long sleave button down shirts everyday so theres no way they would ever see it. so i dont think it would be to much of a problem. twastheglow has a full sleave and he sells insurance and at work he said there would be no way you would ever know.

I've gotten some work done at Sink The Ink in Willow Grove by Althea (she is not there anymore). Her and Jay Rill from the Inkwell (Southampton) are the only two people I let put thier mark on me locally.

The pain only lasts a few moments and when it's gone you're left with a beautiful work of art. I believe if it's something that means enough to you then you won't even notice the pain and it won't matter.

^x2. i totally agree. Tattoos dont hurt that much, well maybe if you walked out looking like Mike, but the pain - or pinching, only lasts a few seconds, if that.

yeah agreed. i have my ribs stomach and back done and the ribs was the worst out of all of them but still tolerable. and on your wrist im sure it something that will only take less than an hour for the artist to do so you wont have to deal with the pain for very long.

Yes! The little bit of pain is so worth it in the end.

Mine didn't even take a half an hour. But, it also doesn't have an outline. For me, it was more uncomfortable than painful.
