Bettie Page died at age 85 after not recovering from a heart attack. I have to admit, I think its kind of sad that she passed away. She was an icon.

^ Definately an icon. The original pin up girl. So many girls/styles base their looks off of what she started sooo many years ago.

She went into hiding for a long time and became very religious. Later on she kind of accepted what she did, but still wouldn't let people photograph her because she wanted people to remember her as she was.

Someone did manage to snap a shot of her though at age 80. I dont know why she didn't want people to see her cause she still looked damn good for her age.

shes amazing. im pretty sad shes gone. I collect a lot of her work, as does my buddy. I JUST bought a bass guitar neck plate that is engraved with her name and picture last night on ebay. 30 minutes later, I heard she passed away

85 is a good run if you ask me. She still looked young as ever even at 80 haha. That's crazy.
