Ok, this is from season 12 episode 6. And this captures the essence of why top gear is the most popular show in the world. Forget an american Top Gear, the BBC just needs to air the real top gear here in the states.

ya, but they only ply old episodes on BBC america. Im sayin they should air new top gear here on sunday nights at the same time they do in Britan.

yah... cause with the time difference that'd be a great idea.

back when i had bbc i believe they played new episodes every monday night.

I don't get BBC America currently, so I just download the episodes from FinalGear.com every week... then we plug one of our laptops into the TV via S-Video cable and watch it... works out great.

and is there evidence to support your claim that Top Gear is the most watched show in the world? Interesting statistic if it's true...

yeh monday nights at 11 but there completely watered down and they edit ALOT out but its still top gear none the less

yeah, I really didn't think so, but hey, I'm not a ratings specialist. I mean, I know it's popular in the UK, US, Canada, and Australia, but when you look at shows like, say, The Simpsons which has been consistently popular worldwide for 20 years, it seemed a little unlikely

Dude u can deff find the vids, just check other places. And idk about the most watched in the whole world, i heard that from a friend of mine in britan. But i deff know its the most watched show in the UK.

My understanding is that new episodes won't be aired here because of the new American Top Gear. It won't be the same, Top Gear is Top Gear because of it's cast, take that away and it's just a car show.

Very true. thats why i want them to air the real version here. UN edited. If uve seen the episode where they are down in the South, if uve seen both the british and USA versions, ull notice that the american version is severely edited, and nowhere near s funny.
