its 125$ for a new computer piece. and its not great technology since it detects electricity we cant cut plexie-glass to clean the blades anymore and it goes off alot and its loud really loud lol and changing them suck! i had to do it this week we have gone through prob 6-7 since sept. and none have been for fingers lol

yeah, i use the tablesaw in woodshop every and try to never get to confortable with it i always keep my guard and the guard up when using it

its not 60$ unless you take the broken one and ship it back with the blade so they can r&d the product. its a great idea just needs more fine tuning

Wow thats a bad ass design. I wanna see someone rip their finger into it like you normally would putting a piece of wood through and see what happens.


On a side note, back in highschool I was in carpentry and I was catching wood for this one kid and once its through he gets this dumb look on his face and its staring at the saw blade. All of a sudden he sticks his ****ing thumb into the blade for absolutely no reason. I got blood all over my shirt, it was gross. I laughed.

go to sawstop's website it has a video of the guy doing it to a hot dog and it cuts off a fraction of a inch...the owner of the company came into our school during the summer last year to give a presentation on it and he did it to his finger and my woodshop teacher said he barley had a cut on his finger
