Want to stick your finger in a table saw?

http://www.hans-wurst.de/erfindung_g...173_media.html

There, now there is not just a link. If that title doesn't A) get people to view thread or B) discuss....then what will? TST really has to chill with some of these rules.

Oh Off-Topic... how I love to hate you.
Here are some rules and guidelines we have established to help keep this madhouse orderly, organized, and of the utmost quality.

1) The "Off-Topic" forum is not a free-for-all, and it is not okay to take a thread off topic intentionally here. It could be more accurately named "On-Topic Interesting Discussion That Does Not Fit Into Any Other Category Listed," but I don't think thats necessary.
There must be a reasonable potential for public discussion for a thread to exist on TST, in the OT forum or anywhere else. It is not for posting anything and everything, so please use some common sense on what is worthwhile and what isn't to help keep the quality of the forum up.

2) All threads must have a reasonably descriptive thread title or they will be closed.

3) Any thread started that has only a link in the body of the text and no description will be closed. The point of starting a thread is to initiate conversation, so go ahead and start it off with a bang by talking a little.

Please remember that these rules are in place to improve the forum, not restrict it. If you have any other ideas or opinions about the form at all, please either post in the "TST Forum Info and Feedback" forum, or PM myself or one of the other moderators.

This thread will be updated in the future, and updates will be noted in the form of a reply to the thread.

He already locked this thread once before. What is the reason for this needing to be 'modded'? Why is everybody so goddamn serious? If this thread gets locked again that would be the dumbest **** in the world.

How expensive? What has to be replaced when these are stopped by a 'finger'?

I was changing the bit on the large drill press and was turning the bit with the chuck key in and some D-bag turned the drill on in wood class.

He thought it was the funniest thing in the world until I wiped my bloody hand all over his milky white knee length T.

My dad nearly lost a couple of fingers on his tablesaw, but most of that was his own fault. Mostly for removing the guard from it.

The video said $60 to repair, that doesn't sound at all expensive to me if it saves a finger or hand or something else.
