Odd Request

This seems weird, I know, but if anyone has any experience with aftermarket seats, brackets and sliders (namely Tenzo Racing), please give me an idea on how to set this stuff up.

My seats just came in and there's the seat, the bracket seperate, the sliders seperate, no instructions and a baggy of bolts. I'm not drunk enough to figure this out.

the sequence is seat > slider > bracket. the sliders should be directional, so make sure you get them right (ie there are two sets of left/right, and they are meant to face a specific direction as indicated by the handle to slide the seat forward or back).
the bracket should be pretty straightforward since its one peice and bolts to the floor of the car.
as for the bolts, you're on your own there. see if you cant find any install directions online, that might help.

I kinda figured that, but it was more of me figuring which slider/bracket goes to which. I'm pretty sure I ahve the right bracket for drivers side mated to a driver seat, but it's putting the damn slider on.

Gonna go google a bit. Thanks.

just mock-assemble it and attach the handle that sticks out the front of the seat to actually slide the seat back and forward. as long as its sticking out the front of the seat and not the back, you should be doing pretty well .

You have no idea how quick I figured that out after drinkin a bit.

My only question now is if it's easier to bolt the bracket to the sliders now and drop the seat in as a whole, or slap the bracket in place on the floor and then drop the seat.

Pray no rain, cause this is going to royally suck if I have to keep this seat in my room.

Easiest to bolt the seat/bracket in as a unit rather than try to bolt the seat to the bracket later.

Ok, this is just retarded. Anyone planning on buying an S-Series saturn, don't. They're the biggest POS's ever.

Now, on to the problem. The 9mm seat bracket bolt will NOT move. I got it to move about 1/100th of a turn. A breaking bar won't help, since the bolt is so damn small you have to use a 1/4" ratchet which means NO leverage, and the seat cusion is next to impossible to remove due to the stock seat design.

Gogo GM geniuses. God damn these cars suck.

Anyone have any experience with center consoles? The stupid belt bracket smacks into the console base. The bracket needs to drop down another 2 inches on the middle side to get the last 2 bolts to line up.

Anyone know if it's safe to dremel out, or should I yank the seat and use a BFH and persuade a groove into it?
