Nice photos man. I'm going to be doing a model shoot in a couple of weeks. I'll post em' up here, if they'll let me.

i like the first set up! I can tell you what my lighting teacher would tell me about them if they were mine. .
The poses are nice but could be slightly improved using a slight head tilt, and move the shoulders more toward the side. (these two things will make the subject appear skinnier (ALWAYS A PLUS WITH EVERY MODEL.) they always want to be skinnier. Also i would try to keep catch lights in the eyes. Just by making the subject look 6 inches or so above the camera will put nice little gleeming lights in their eyes. (also always good). like i said though, that first set is really good.. those are just my suggestions for next time. . small stuff. . |

Love the shots, Chris. The first one really pops for me, but the rest are all still very attractive shots.
If this is a school studio, that's pretty sweet. I'd love to have something like this at my disposal up here at PSU. Then again, I'm not sure what actually is at my disposal here at PSU, since I'm switching to a photography major next semester. For some studio photography tips, check this link out: http://lumitouch.com/benstudiotutorial/ Nothing fancy, but it covers the basics (head tilt, body angle, hands, etc.) BTW - what is that on her cheek?
