So you don't care about it's looks? You don't mind ugly cars as long as it does the job...

I like it looks like they aimed for a retro datsun, it is suppose to be alot lighter an around 330hp 3.7 liter. Wondering how the transmissions will be if they act like the 350's.

all stock cars need overdoing, whether its just an exhaust (super cars) or some new rims, suspension work etc. you guys know the drill. i remember when the 350z was hated on, now its like... well... maybe... uhh... if you do this and that i'd buy it... how about buy it do it yourself? its not what you buy, its what you build. said many times and yet, the usual bs goes about... ahh

Because it'll still break, and still not be worth the amount of $$ put into it, especially the earlier ones. Such a ****ing disappointment.

puts on gloves...

listen, so your speaking on (by example) behalf of early models BMW M5's that since they come out so high priced and yet most owners put sooo many thousands of dollars in them? just one car of many that people buy expensive that they tend to put much much more money in after retail. ahem...

Omar, if you compare the 350Z to an M5 you have a clear misunderstanding of the build quality of most modern-era Nissans.

Comparison is null on that ground. Think of a car a little more pertinent to the instant case.

i like the new 370z. reminds me a lot of the original Z cars like 240 and 280. i think it looks better than the 350z. they definatly brought out some of that beautiful retro style, but in a fresh and modern form.

If the headlights didn't look like they did, I'd say it'd be an almost a perfect iteration of the Z.

im just saying a stock car in general on how it was just hated on. potential is endless and the moment i compared to its competitors i'm just overreacting? wait? ok, i understand, i'll give it a year and then when the whole 370z is all cool, than we'll be on the same page.

excuse my prequel to the modern hawtness. sorry, go on with your underestimating.

So you're going to replace the transmission, interior, paint, etc? To what extent is enough enough?!

I understand the philosophical ramifications of making your car "yours", but cmon now.

the headlights look awesome as do the taillights. we'll see about build quality. and congrats bro, on wanting a PORSCHE over a nissan. I personally would rather have a FERRARI over a kia any day of the week. Oh wait... too bad there is a HUGE price difference, in both msrp, and in running costs, damn.

yeah but the point he is trying to get across is that the Z is supposed to be a contender with the porsche.

i know some people don't like it but the fact that the car can rev match itself when you downshift sounds pretty damn cool to me

yeah ill agree it sounds like a cool idea...but its just becoming less and less of a task to drive a manual and makes anyone able to do it with little or no effort by relying on computers to do work for you...so for that reason im not so sure about it...

if you cant rev match for yourself buy an automatic!
