i failed at getting up on time... i'm starting for sure monday though... I realize my issue is not that i'm too lazy to workout, its that i'm too lazy to get my ass up at 6am anymore...used to do it all the time when i had to get to work...

this thread is awesome... but like everything else, lots of information in a single place and hard to digest. I'm gonna stick with:

also for advice- the internet has become informative but TOO informative. lots of noobs read too much into the science of lifting and forget about lifting itself! I see too many people saying crap like "omg i did 2 reps cuz I did not want to tire my CNS " (central nervous system). you won't overtrain unless you really really try.

I'm in agreement with this..

I had some kid that said he made crazy gains off of westside barbell..

he was 6' tall and 160lbs, maybe got 3 reps of 185...........

Well I just joined the YMCA so I am still working on a routine ... I will when I get one locked down.

In terms of diet, right now I'm just eating everything. Carbs & sugar too. It's working out well so far.
