Well, today we took the train into New York, first time being there with the new Camera and I took some shots, its my first time really doing any serious actual people in my shots, and I was trying to mess around with depth of field and get a feel for using the manual Focus on some shots. I know a lot of these shots have been done before but it was the first time for me. I have never been to Central Park before and it will definitely not be my last, that place is amazing.

I was walking along and I found this etched into one of the gigantic handrails around the fountain, I thought it was awesome. 74 years old.

i LOVE NY! where did you take a pic of the LOVE statue? Im gonna have to go raise hell since they stole it from philly!

Thanks, the LOVE shot was taken at about 46th and Broadway. Couple blocks north of Times Square.

Is the 2nd shot really dark on any one else's computer? On my laptop its bright I showed the thread to a friend and he said the 2nd shot was very dark and your could barely see it. Anyone?
