ok so now that ive had a day to let everything sink in, ill give my thoughts on the day...

Overall, it was def a fun experience. I was definitely a bit stressed out but thats normal for me when i plan events. Thanks to everyone who cooperated, :tst: to those of you who cant read pace notes and get lost. :bblz: to those of you who are scared to drive your cars properly. Thanks to my boys Adrian, Chris and Brandon for helping "lead". Also, thanks to mike and brandon for the fun on the way home, 282 > *.

Next time, it will be a much smaller group of cars, and because of that i think the run will go faster and be more fun. Thanks to everyone for coming out. I hope you guys enjoyed it.

haha... screw you Jon :p

Its hard to read pace notes while driving your car and trying to figure out what road you're on exactly. I had an especially good time coming out of turns and hammering it... only to hit 15 psi right away and stuttering thanks to the fuel pump going. Next time i'm going to find a co-pilot

all in all, i had a fantastic time... just a little disappointed in my car and seriously considering upgrades for it and putting my truck on hold for a little bit.

I need an EBC and a bigger turbo w/ supporting mods and suspension done up... i would have loved to come out of some of those turns with 350-400whp...

PS: Chris, I love your Forester!

I thought you were reffering to me, like the one time you said "drive faster"...I was pretty much giving it my all in the corners, but on some of those bumpy straight aways with blind hills I didn't want to go flying down doing 80mph (although at one point I passed that), seeing as radios werent working for quite everyone and I didn't want to come hauling over a hill to find everyone stopped at the bottom and have to do a fast stop in mid air.

I do agree though that the next run should be smaller, or maybe just split into 3 smaller groups and meet at the rest stops and then leave in a particular order leaving a few minute gap between the packs.

Ken, you need to go buy that MSM!

I ain't got the money son

Besides, I love the SRT... i just can't bring myself to getting rid of it...

Anyway, you know I got cut off a **** load. I really have no idea what is going through someones head when they see 10 "similar" cars (wings, bright colors, driving 'spirited') and pull out between them...

Oh, I see how it is just cause I drive a miata you gotta make fun of me .

I was surprised though, certain points on the 2nd half of the run I started pulling away and the Cayman behind me was just cruising, seemed like a bunch of cars were behind him trailing a bit. I did take it slower in some portions too but its not that I can't push my car and not that I wanted everyone else to go slow, but blind corners are not fun to fling around, plus I was paranoid about getting pulled over (4 points on my licence as of now)

That was me

I was trying to create some space between the "two packs" because being in one huge line really isnt any fun.

this was the first time i wasn't worried about getting pulled over for driving "quickly" got up to 80-90 at some points trying to keep up with the forester lol

with so many cars, and my GPS... i could have just kept going if the group got pulled over ;)

but really, i'm very surprised we didn't see much of the police anywhere...

I though it was sorted out well. Having the realy fast and good handling cars all in front could casue the others to push a little over there limits and bad stuff happen...some thinky like that. It kept stuff in check...thanks to the SRT8 fellow sorting our the cars. Communication from the front was huge. To push my STI to the true limits or over 80%, ill only do that on a road course.
Scapegoat, keep your car. The grass is allways greener on the other side. SRT4 can be badass very easily. Very cool cars IMO and grt color u have. And having a copilot was very good. Im sure JP could have found some chick or pick up one of those nice Lancaster girls riding the bikes on the side of the road.
The Miata is fast as heck in the turns but lacking pull through power...but still a very fun car. Heck the new RX8 was ranked 3rd (behind Audi and BMW M3) in magazine i read for fun track driving/handling, ahead of the GTR, EVO and numerous other bad ass cars!

What happened if I gave it more than 1/4 throttle in the turns was my back end started coming out, party due to my **** tires (proxes 4) and partly to the new sways although i had the rear set on softest for the run and it didn't really feel soft

then don't throttle through turns wait until you exit and straighten out then gas it

Jon@WrightAgency, I think you disappointed those kids in the Audi A4 when you didn't retaliate to my little ricer fly by on the way out of there. It was cool meeting the group and look forward to next time.
