Is there any decent places to eat up near Bushkill Falls? I'm taking the family to see the falls and I want to grab something to eat before we head home. Someplace where we can sit down relax and not feel rushed.

My mom is visiting from Texas and I would rather take her to somekind of restaurant or diner.

i searched online and i dont really see anything special, its gonna be hard to find a good place in the middle of no where. id just ask the locals when your up there.

Not really close at all. He would have to go through Marshall's Creek to 80 to the Scotrun exit. There aren't many places around the fall sadly (I was looking for a stop because of the Fall Run going there again this year.) I know there are a couple places in the foxmoore complex and there is also a diner if you stay on 209 going toward Marshall's Creek across from the Flea Market. If you don't mind a 15 minute drive you can go through Marshall's Creek on 209 and go towards East Stroudsburg, on your left is a New York style deli that makes some great food (not just sandwiches). If you want to go there shoot me a pm and I'll mark it on a google map for you.

The Big A is probably the best thing that is close. It is just down 209 from the falls.

Depending on where your coming from if you come the rest of the way down into the Stroudsburg/East Stroudsburg area there are some good restaurants and some really good restaurants. I would say from personal experience the nicest place in Stroudsburg is the Willow Tree Inn, but depending on how big the party is, you could rack up a very hefty bill.

Ill keep an eye out and ask some of my friends who are Hotel/Restaurant/Tourism majors what else is in the area.

I totally forgot about Big A lol. If they were hitting Willow Tree they could also head up and do the Stroudmoor

Its been some time since I've been there last, but I do remember the market that is right down the road on the right leaving the falls. I'll head down that way on the way home. I think from my directions I have to go that way anyways.
