Here are the pictures from the first monthly meet at JSC Speed in Montgomeryville, PA. This is going to be a monthly meet starting the first Tuesday of every month. The next meet is going to be delayed to 11/11 because election day is 11/4. On another note, It was a great turnout for the little notice that was given. The crowd was very easy going, which is always a plus. It is a great area for a meet as well. It was secluded and had adequate lighting. Not only do we have a great place to meet at now, the store is open at the same time. Shop for parts at the meet! Thanks a lot to the people at JSC Speed for hosting this event and to all the people that made it happen. Enough of me talking, time for the good stuff shall we.

some of those are pretty nice, aside from where environmental shadows are, but i know how it can be shooting in that situation.

You were shooting with a 20D right? What lens?

If I get a tripod by the next meet well definately have to shoot, ive got a few different lenses I can use and you can as well.

EF 50mm f/1.8
EF 70-200 f/4 L

I was shooting with a Rebel XT with a 18-55mm lens. Yeah, night shooting is always a bitch. I would like to get a strobe setup, but that's a long way away.

Nice pix...it amazes me how far CMOS technology has come to get clean, relatively noiseless pix in that situation! Nice job!
