best bet is to just bring your own helmet

as far as I know e-town lets you rent helmets??? I may be down for this, we'll see. I planned on going to the vw show 'n go so I guess this is the same weekend?

and I was planning on being nice to my tires...

oh and can someone please find out what you have to pay if you go over the 50 or 100 cars allotted for the free pass?

they said a limited number of helmets will be available for rent... dont depend on that if you dont have to though. i'm using this as an excuse to try and finally buy one, but worst case i'll try to borrow one and bring it with me. friends could share helmets, but if you're in the same run group it could get pretty hectic.

ya, I'm stuck debating buying or renting.
I'm not even gonna push it that hard. My first time tracking my car at all.
Don't know if I'll do it again anytime soon after.

also, if anyone does rent a helmet. Do you know how much it would be Troll?

if anyone is looking for a helmet I 'just' purchased a really good Simpson SA2500 helmet that I'll unload for cheap. this is one of the best ones you can buy and will work with a hans should you even decide to use one.

I want to go but I also have no suspension work and would I be able to follwo someone down? I signed up so we will see how this goes. Is there a grandstand for people to sit at and watch?

^^^ you don't need any mods, its not a race.
They have a bleacher area you can sit and watch if you want but why not just run your car?

I'm heading over from PA. If anyone doesn't know how to get there and wants to follow along you can, one condition though, no stupid stuff on the road... you wanna act dumb do it on the track but make sure its away from me.

the "bleachers" were nothing but metal framework without benches during the all star bash, don't know if they've done anything to it since then I haven't bothered to look
