Disc Brakes Australia's 4000-series Rotors

DBA's 4000 series rotor is probably the finest quality cast-iron rotor on the market today. It is our favorite rotor down here at BigBrakeParts -- we use them on our WRX track car.

DBA’s 4000 series range of disc brake rotors are not just the first choice of track racing enthusiasts; they are a high quality product for all road performance and heavy duty applications. Featuring DBA’s patented 144 diamond and tear-drop pillar design ( Kangaroo Paw ) ventilation system and the finest quality materials these custom designed disc rotors are machined to world class manufacturing standards.

DBA was the first brake company to introduce the heat seasoning process “TSP” and temperature monitoring system across the whole performance (or sport disc) range to ensure optimum warp free performance. Typical applications that would most benefit by fitting DBA 4000 series disc rotors are high performance two and all wheel drive road/track cars or to maximize safety when towing heavy loads in the family sedan or 4WD.

All DBA 4000 rotors feature:

• Patented ‘Kangaroo Paw’ ventilation design
• Thermal Stability Profiling (TSP)
• Minimal bedding-in of rotors
• 6x6 ‘wiper-slot’ design maintains consistent brake friction and a cleaner disc rotor surface
• Directional wiper-slot design (Left-hand and right-hand disc rotors)
• Rotor protection paint on hub/hat surface: Jet-black = slotted series
• Thermo-Graphic paint markings for temperature monitoring
• Rapidly expels friction gases

Contact us for more info, or check out your application on our website.

I've had these on my Cobra for a little over a year, and after countless autocrosses they are holding up perfectly. I can't think of a single complaint about them which is rare for me as I am very hard on parts with my daily driven Cobra that gets run hard at autocrosses every other weekend.

I had these on the Subie a while back before my swap and they are badass... actually sold them to Jeffros and I believe he's still running them. The quality is definitely really high on these, well worth the money. They perform great, have a lot of r+d behind them, and they look awesome too.

Hawk HPS's, they don't need to be warmed up but they still bite good and hard against these rotors.
