It could just be that he was so excited that he was shaking. 200mm needs a quick shutter in order to be crisp if it's being handheld.

i dont need no stinkin IS. just gonna take some time to learn new techniques, etc. so far im really impressed with this lens. i like it a thousand times more than my 17-40L
