I think the common thing is not necessarily hating on the car itself but the uneducated owners. I saw a guy on tv...sold his hummer at a loss...then paid 27k for a used prius....to save on gas!!!! I'm smart enough to realize that having a $200+ a month lower payment goes a long way in my tank. That and my car is way cooler....lol.

I was at the art museum tonight just hanging out. within 15-20 minutes, I must have counted at least 20 priuses that drove by, plus some more on the ride there and back. its a ****ing plague

Try reading the thread next time. My point is that there is more to the prius than just mpg so if you want to compare a $500 to a $28k car you have to account for the differences in the car and its design. This is a friendly conversation chill out or go sit in the corner.
