We will work on our customer communications. Generally it's pretty good with a few slipping through the cracks. We generally ask the customer to call us at certain times during the day so it makes it easier to group together time for phone calls. Right now is a transition phase for us and we appreciate our customers dealing with it.
Please get ya girl cuz she's lying and pissing me off to no end. I did not speak to her last week, i spoke to you. So tell her to shut up cuz she giving the shop a bad name. You have updated me due to this thread thats why i did not call the shop, plus i said for one of you to call me. and that did not happen. Plus when you told me about your mechanic the first time i was more than understanding and even felt bad cuz you said you were there working by yourself. I even entertained the idea of asking if you needed a hand doing the simple things maybe on the weekend. The sideskirts on the car was popped off from the jump, you yourself showed me this and said it was a clip or something. Again please tell emillie to be quiet unless she is calling customers or answering the phones. No disrespect to you, but she really needs to stop. I hope its not gonna take for me to start another thread about the shop to get some answers.

Ps: Please let me know how much the clutch will be. And im to understand my car is up next?

I'm on here today, because people feel the need to chime in on a topic and spout here-say, and bull ****... because someone told someone else that their brother's best friend knew someone who brought their car here and wasn't happy. because Vr-4-life follows me around all over this site, in every thread I make or post in, and starts running his mouth... even though he has never stepped foot in this shop. because Q calls 20 times a day, even though I just spoke with him about a week ago, and told him exactly what I just told him now... that we're working on getting it in.

Running a shop isn't cut and dry, like a doctors office, or a jiffy lube. If all we did was oil changes... scheduling would be easy. But when you're doing engine swaps, and rebuilds, and turbo conversions, and 5spd conversions, and AWD conversion, and who knows what else... unexpected problems arise, and are dealt with as quickly as possible. And when you schedule jobs, and your mechanic is out sick for nearly a month with crippling joint problems... things get backed up.

I don't have time to post on here to the one or two customers that frequent this forum, to explain what is going on. We told him all of this last week, I didn't think I needed to reiterate myself 20 times over since then.
20 unanswered calls, matter fact 20 ignored calls. And again i was told last tuesday my car was being pulled in tuesday night or friday. So if this did not happen, then two things should have followed. You should have called me and told me, the secound you did not really have to do, but you could have called the owner of the car that got delayed and told them there were some delays. Thats all Emillie, so just accept it, and work on whats important.

I missed a call from a blocked number this morning. I don't know if it was you or not, but I was on 2 different phone lines at the same time and don't have enough skills to switch to handle 3 calls at once LOL. If it was you, I apologize for not getting it, but I just couldn't. I'll have it in before the week is over. Just finishing up a auto-manual swap on a scion tc right now and installing our 3rd lift on thursday.

guys... get on the phone and sort this out please... a thread with feedback is fine here but if you're trying to solve some miscommunication then get on the phone or get in person and handle it. the internet is a terrible place for clear communication, and further doing it in a public forum with lots of uninvolved people inserting their 2c is even less productive.
just want to see things resolved and i dont see this as the best place to do it...

unless it's a repaint, it's not cleared. They clear newer red cars but not old ones.

Again, vr4-life. Just leave my shop alone. I've done nothing to you. If you know of people that have had problems with me, have them contact me. If not, just be quiet.

And yes, I'm at work and posting... just like many of you people are doing. If you have a problem with me taking time to type this up then I suggest you buy my business so you can be my boss and tell me what I can and can not do.

most all older reds were single phase. They still fade, and it will look like clear coat fade, but it is just the gloss in the paint itself fading.

You have it backwards. Reading comprehension owned your ass. My 97 vr4 (which is factory red) is cleared. ALL of my 91-93 red 3/S cars that were red (probably 20+ of them) that had factory paint were not cleared. If you want to try to school me on car knowledge, I would suggest you pick a different kind of car.

2nd generation (94+) models with red paint (paint code R71) do not have clearcoat from the factory, and fade more easily than other colors. As these cars get older, paint flaws are bound to happen particularly where they are exposed to direct sunlight.

Its not what i remember.. its what i read while i posted that reply......... and yess keep taking time away from cars and talk ****.

go buff Q(tru2blu's) car...theres no clearcoat on it... I don't care what you're little internet link says. If I dug around, I can probably find a handful that contradict that article.
