i got a new bike too
03 yz125 all nice and stock except for the air filter  got it for 1200. top end was done in 2006. the bars are a lil bent up though so im gonna do a set of renthals probly. gotta take some stupid stickers off and clean it up, put on a new set of bars and this thing is gonna be awesome. also got a new chain and sprocket with it  it actually kinda rips with the stock pipe. i think the only mod ill do is a carb boot spacer to bring the powerband a little lower in the rpms and we'll see if i want anything else once i hit the track... cant wait to get it to the track! finally back on a 125!!! wewt Last edited by frosti108; 08-05-2008 at 01:55 AM. |

I like the 125's..I ad a KX250 and EVERY time I got on it I fell and got hurt, like 6 times in a row..Never anything too bad on 80's or 125's growing up..I also had a 86CR500 when I was like 15, it scared me ****less but I'd go tearing around in grass fields after a bigger friend would start it for me lol..I was like 130lbs back then..

hahahahah i was thinking about getting a 500 or 250... but seriously the 500 is too big for an mx track and the 250s i were finding were a little bit older and beat up so i just settled on this 125.
so it turns out the rear shock is blown and the bike was low on gear oil  oh and the front fender is cracked/bent. so the shocks coming off tonight im taking it to get rebuilt tomorrow as well as a new set of pro taper bars. the plastic im going to deal with for now, and im also gonna do a fresh gear saver oil change. the bars that are on it now, i temporarily bent them back with a huge monkey wrench lol i started cleaning it / taking the gay stickers off today, but i need to go up to the pressure washer tomorrow and really git r done. then ill snap a few pics later. OH and the asshole didnt give me the front number plate. teaches me for buying a bike at night... |
