Because it's away from everything.

Not many people live close to it and it's far from a major highway. That's why the BB meets have been so successful, they've both been right off of 295 so it's easy to get to.

38 is not a highway BTW

According to that logic, any street is a highway. When I (and I'm sure many other people) think of a highway, I think of a main road with exits, no stop lights, and a speed limit of 55or higher.
