considering possibilities with a smaller turbo than the dom 3

So I have a dom 3 sitting on my shelf right now and I do want to put it in my car, but with my money situation right now and the fact that my car is able to spin all 4 through second on wet or gravel roads and on dry roads to some degree as is, idk if this is the best time to be going for that type of power. I know i could just wait and save up and have the Dom 3 installed within 2 years from now, but because thats such a big timeline im considering other options too. I just want some advice from tuners and anyone else who knows.

So im thinking right now, when i was tuned my injectors were at 93% duty so they will need to be done no matter what direction I go. And I know the stock VF39 is limited, but I have seen them run up to around 350whp on certain setups. Im thinking id sell my dom 3 for around what I bought it for, and do like 740cc injectors w/ walbro 255, and run an external wastegate setup and an ebcs. and get a nice tune. Im not big on meth, and yes I know thats an option. And i would be willing to have the VF39 ported polished and coated.

Im just kicking things around right now. let me know what you think and what advice you have. Obviously I realize with this im not getting anywhere near 400whp. Id be shooting for 330whp or so, which I have seen done on pump gas before.

My current mods are, EL headers and the rest of the exhaust, perrin short intake, samco turbo inlet, Perrin TMIC w/ all piping.
