So I'm relisting in the Army next month.

I'm so excited. My knee is finally healed and I'm getting back into shape again so I can requalify my MOS.

Got $20,000 for quick ship option and an additional $20,000 for my critical MOS.

I'm doing Army again, but I select MP as my new MOS. I did infantry last time and it was a blast, learned a whole bunch of cool stuff, but when I came back to the civiliar world, I had nothing to rely on from it.

MP will hopefully get me info a good career down the road. Not looking to be a cop, but def wanna do something FBI, CIA, NSA, or ATF.

I haven't been really happy since I came home. Been a full time student and working for the last year and a half, its getting old. Army was fun last time and with me only having a few credits left, I will have alot of open doors if I go career and become an officer.

Atleast your an army guy and can admit it lol. Most army guys wont say anything like that. One of my best friends is a Marine over in Iraq right now and he is nuts. Ill tell you what tho the Marines taught him so much discipline it wasn't even funny. He came back from boot camp like a robot. All in all good luck with whatever you do and thanks for serving the country. Ive got mad respect for anyone who can put their life on the line just to protect our freedom.

i know an ex-marine... he's not crazy in the least

i've always wanted to enlist somewhere. air force and communications/programming would certainly be an option. if i ever lost my job i'd be there next day signing up... or at least signing up for something that would give me an enlistment bonus that would pay off the mustang

Damm wish i could go back in. Had to have my knee replaced last year. To many jumps and the life of a dirt dart...

As for Marines better than Army, really depends on the unit. I am Ex-Ranger and trained with many Marines that were bad ass.

Wow. . .40k just for jumping back in. . .makes ME want to go back in. Although, the wife would have NONE of that. Oh well. Good luck man, stay safe and thanks again for making the sacrifice. And be prepared for getting sprayed with OC Spray during MP MOS School. Not sure if you have to do it, but when I was augmented to the MP's we had to. And well. . . it sucked. . .ass.

And us Marines are not Crazy! It's called confidence ;) If you could handle Army Infantry, you can handle Marine Boot. The toughest thing is staying mentally sane throughout the whole process. Your body gets used to the punishment, you should know that being former infantry though. Plus, you get to wear that really cool uniform that makes the women cry out of their vagina :D

My younger brothers are both Army guys. One is 22 and 6 years in and the other is leaving in 5 days. I have to lose some weight before I can enlist, but I am going Marines.
