reports have leaked out that tomorow apple will be introducing the Apple iPad, it's basically a crossover of an itouch and a mac book. Consisting of a 10" touch screen

In my opinion im not a fan; too bulky to carry around in your pocket like and iphone/itouch, so if your going to put in a backpack or something why not just carry your laptop?

Either way, Apple will sell a quadrillion of them and probably start the tablet on a road it should have been on a long time ago because Apple has a tendency to do things right after a few tries and embarrassments. Apple has tried tablets before, but the technology and the want for a gizmo like this seems to have solidified.

pricing for Wifi only is $499, $599, and $699 depending on storage size.
$130 extra for Wifi + 3G, making it $629, $729, $829.

3G service is $15 or $30 per month.

Seems pretty cool to me. Like they said, that would be nice for watching videos/movies/tv on when you don't wanna pull out a full size laptop but don't wanna squint at an ipod, among many other uses. My initial impression is

except that it wont be totally useless to many people... its a shame that the anti-apple clan is too caught up in their predetermined hate to just open their eyes and look at things objectively.

i dont plan to buy one, but its cool and some will love it. i also have a lot of respect for apple's innovations and helping to push the entire computer/phone industry forward with their products, which really seem to set the standard these days.

I honestly don't get the point of this product. Whats the benefit of a larger ipod touch? No handwriting recognition or stylus? No flash support?

The hardware is there, but it seems like the software was just rushed and offers no innovation.

I like and I dont like. Feature wise, it only offers me a larger screen than my phone. I have limitless storage with microSD cards, 800mhz of processing power, wifi and 3g.
