I dunno...but above ground power FTL in this case.

Keeps dimming my lights.

Have you ever sat there and wondered where the hell the wind actually comes from?

I believe the technical explanation is that a "front" is moving into the area. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Convection currents are rising and falling air currents that occur in an unstable atmosphere. Convection currents are one way to create clouds. When an area of air is warmed at the earth's surface, it becomes more buoyant (a thermal) and starts to rise until it meets cooler air. The warm moist air then cools and starts to condense and a cloud is formed. What occurs next is air around the cloud cools, and starts to sink back towards the ground. This descending air is a common cause of wind gusts when cumulus clouds are being built.

Wind rocks. It took all of the leaves from my front and back yards and piled them up against my neighbor's chicken-wire fence out back. Now all I have to do is bag them. SWEEET!

you wanna hear something ****ty? it's raining so bad in seattle the water couldn't drain fast enough and it collected on my grandmas roof. she called last night and told me the roof caved in and tore down a wall too, she has no credit and maybe ~5,000 in savings.

The wind had me so worried I moved the car from under the canopy to the other side of the house. Looks like the canopy made the night thought.

doesn't cover it

it's an addition that has a flat roof, nowadays in WA you can't have a flat roof. it got backed up with water before and part of it started to cave, the insurance company only gave her something like $2000 to cover the carpet and furniture that was ruined, they said they don't have to pay for the roof because she shouldn't have a flat one. she couldn't pay like 20,000 to have a new roof built and no roofers would come fix a flat one ( against the law ) so she called around until she found a family friend that would fix it under the table

Im so glad I did not listen to my mom when she told me to rake the leaves on saturday. Doug how do you like the car cover? I was thinking about getting one as my car is not garaged, but I've heard mixed things about them.
