What turbo and mani are you running? This is with the stock KA right? How many miles on the engine?
good luck with all that. it's making me jealous.
stock ka with 90,000 pampered miles. compression 185 all across the board, t3/t4 63 ar and i believe 76 trim (i didnt get it in yet). i am using a custom built mani that was used when i bought it. the guy made 533rwhp with it so it is strong as hell. and heavy as hell. i chose the ka over the sr for many reason one of being that it will make more power on the street.
I have to agree that it will make more power than the SR and it will have more torque to begin with. I think just bolting up a turbo with 7psi its around 225 horse and equal torgue and thats with the stock compression. Thats better than any drop in stock SR and can be done alot cheaper.
What are you using for fuel control? Going with a Z32 MAF? If I had a 240 I would be doing the same thing. Oh and is it a cast manifold or tubular? |
tubular. at .5 bar i should make around 250whp at least. on an sr that would only make about 200whp i think. stock mafs till the new one comes in and i am using a safc, walboro pump, and 370cc injectors. after that i will prob do a stand alone if i can get the money or a jwt ecu. the mani is HEAVY. it is real strong
Awesome dude, sounds like your on the right track! Yeah it all depends on what turbo you are running in relation on what power your going to make.
250 sounds like alot for 7.25 psi, but I DON'T doubt you. I was suprised to make almost 300 with 10psi. What about a fuel pressure regulator? I've heard and read around good things about the JWT ecu's. Good luck with it all!! I'm definetly interested in your setup and how you work everything out. Just for future referance if I ever get a 240 Make sure you keep up with the updates! |
the greddy kit makes like 220 rwhp at .5 bar with a TD06S 20G actuator-turbo and 250+tq. that is all non intercooled also. there is def some potential
