Not sure. He keeps everything pretty hush hush.

97TurboDSM 07-01-2008 11:43 PM

just curious cause it sounds pretty rough. is he using an eclipse ecu? he could run dsmlink if he did that.

JayFine 07-02-2008 12:13 AM

That was the first start up since the new motor had been put in and I know he hasn't tuned it yet since he put a tiny turbo on to break in the motor before putting on the monster turbo. Pretty sure he is using the eclipse harness with DSMlink.

97TurboDSM 07-02-2008 01:46 AM

keep this thread updated, that can be a beastly setup

JayFine 07-02-2008 01:53 AM

If I hear back from him I will post what he is using and how he is tuning it.

plans right now are to use megasquirt... idle sounds off due to a lot of things... its currently running on a stock mitsu ECU and 450cc injectors for break in miles.. once thats over its time to swap in the 880cc or larger injectors, big dawg turbo, and tune with megasquirt...

Can't wait to see the end results of this serious project...This guy is on a mission!

That's awesome. +1 for MS, he should just say "**** it" and go with speed density if that's what's he's tuning with. There is nothing like properly venting a BOV and being able to run a 4" intake to your turbo.

.40 over...why so overbored???

KingOfDelco 07-10-2008 10:29 AM

OP- Saw you (passed you) on the Westbound PA Turnpike about a week ago, around 5pm, coming home from work. Car sounded good from behind, then I got in front and checked the rearview and saw the FMIC....thought I recognized the car. I thought you were gonna toast me. :D

dturbocivic 07-10-2008 03:55 PM

groden aluminum rods, but still using oem cast exhaust manifold ? WTF ?

KingOfDelco 07-10-2008 04:36 PM

space/fitment issues maybe?

JayFine 07-11-2008 04:11 AM

i dont know much about the car other than what he posts. And yea i remember seeing you kingofdelco. I was on my way to west chester to visit a friend.
