How much power are you making?

I'm putting down 330awhp and 333 tourque (thanx to the guys over at TurboTrix for doing such a great job)

I made those numbers on 23psi and 93octane fuel.... just have some normal bolt-ons and stock clutch  not too bad considering there was a person who made 350awhp on 24psi and a 20g turbo  i wonder who did his tune... lol

I thought it would be a good idea to start this just to get a feel for what kinda numbers people r putting out around the area... see  what the competition is like

Rey The Great 02-22-2008 02:51 AM

DPancoast 02-22-2008 11:49 AM

CHAOS 02-22-2008 11:58 AM

there was definitely a thread on this exact topic.

NOPSTNS 02-22-2008 12:34 PM

yeah but he wants a narrower audience. he just wants to kno if any philly area peeps be rockin some high hp....

so judging by Dpancoast, i am finally not DEAD LAST in the hp department! thanks buddy!

DPancoast 02-22-2008 12:45 PM

haha that is with a TERRIBLY bad clutch dude. The videos are embarrassing.

Buster 02-22-2008 12:50 PM

<--- whos on number 3? this guy! LOL... not funny

The trannies themselves arent that bad, it depends on the conditions.
My first one broke because in the 15k miles I had it i put probably 100+ launches on it practicing and ****. It just sheared 1st gear though.

My last one broke about 2 weeks ago and it was probably a stress thing from just 2 years of hard pulls. It only chipped off 2 teeth on the pinon gear.

The new one is getting nothing but 55 mph and 4k shifts LOL, until I can get the onther one PPG'd

underpressure02 02-22-2008 05:33 PM

I put down 505 on my bone stock ls/vtec at 22psi with a gt40r on a mustang dyno.

My built motor is putting out a little bit more then that.

Mach1 02-22-2008 05:54 PM

300/332...about 5 bolt-ons short of full bolt-on. Looking for 340-350 with out opening my heads or spray...then I'm popping on the Eaton. :)

haha who knows dude. Once my exhaust gets done this week, I'm going back to get new numbers. I might still be below you haha.

PAFirefighter11 02-22-2008 09:53 PM

Figure stock, the engine is underrated from the factory and typically produce 310hp / 340tq. I've got a few good hp gainers and running a full second faster than my car stock, so I have no idea where I am. I do mean to get it dyno'd soon. I just had a tune and need to drop to a 160* t-stat now as well. Can't wait to get the numbers on this one.

SovXietday 02-22-2008 11:11 PM

Don't know yet, but won't be adequate until I'm over 400. This is in the Honda btw.

Camaro is stock LS1 whatever that does. Probably low 300s.

lol please tell me u'll have a new clutch in before u go in for another try :)

wrx-auto-x 02-22-2008 11:35 PM

02 wrx bugeye about 295hp at 16.86psi. no dyno yet but i know that a cobb stage 2 makes 285hp/285tq at 15.8psi so i am estimating my numbers. but not too bad for just a 3" tbe ,short ram intake, and open source tuned stage 2 map.

rich_price 02-24-2008 09:43 PM

368 rwhp / 365 rw torque .. bone stock ( 2006 LS2 GTO ) .. I can post up a dyno chart as soon as I have more than 3 posts ( TST n00b)

vdcoff 02-24-2008 09:57 PM

224 whp / No torque number yet
