How long till it blows up?

foss 01-01-2008 02:34 PM

All that money and he couldn't get some coilovers..

james_ls 01-01-2008 03:02 PM

Looks pretty sweet.

That car can actually pull off those doors....wow. Impressive.

I remember seeing this car a couple of years ago at Rotorfest and I even think he one for best RX8.

The only problems I have is the small T3 turbo, fuel control. No T3 turbo belongs on a rotary, I just don't see the housing being big enough to handle the exhaust flow of one. Some people have run T3 turbo's with succes, but they have to work harder with there tuning to keep things together. T3 could cause exhaust choke, reversion and high EGT's. With the claimed 320 horsepower I don't think he is running enough fuel for the power he is making. I doubt he can run more than 12psi for more than a short period of time. I would definetly upgrade the Emanage controlled injectors to some 450+cc injectors.

I say forget the coilovers and get a set of injectors and a bigger turbo/manifold setup.

Overall though I think the car looks good and it would be fun to blast around in.

That lambo/honda picture was quite funny.

Your probably right. I was thinking he might have been in the area or something. They have similar body mods, but the one from Rotorfest I think had a Greddy turbo kit.. Yeah I don't know about the whole Vette killer thing.

Rx8 lookes good with the lambo's, not into the coilovers on the rx- unless you hit the point where your power excededs the limits of what the stock suspension can handle. Second Gen rx7 third gen rx7 and rx8 all have increadable handling out of the box.

Thats because hes a spoiled little prick. I can just read the arrogance in his posts.

I love him pointing our yaw-movement and his experience at high speed driving school like thats an excuse to be a dick head, but then again, the only magazine domestics see is autotrader. HAHAHAHA.

lambo doors were cool.... like 4 years ago..
