pics of my 94 FD

just thought i'd post a few pics of my FD. I bought it a couple months ago. it was bone bone stock with a brand new motor and clutch and fuel system. all of it is under warranty till next may. this car was owned by a doctor who spared no expense in keeping it in perfect shape. he replaced everything not because of a blown motor or clutch, but because his mazda master tech. friend said he should. i have the bill of almost 8k in parts and labor he paid. i picked up the car with only 400 miles on the new parts. it now has about 1700 miles on it. 74k on the car.

mods are : 12-10-12 boost pattern
apexi Turbo Timer
apexi hard pipe intakes
apexi gt spec 4 in exhaust
greddy bov
greddy 2 row FMIC
greddy intake elbow
turbonetics MBC
efini y pipe

r1 lip
r1 spoiler
r1 side strakes

not installed are my h&r springs

nothing crazy yet but the car pulls very very hard.

effin sweet. very clean!!

Sideways_S2k 10-27-2006 05:18 PM

all in good time. i will go to the apexi power fc prob. over the winter. thats what i had on my single turbo rx7 and it worked out pretty well. 460rwhp on that one. i sold it last year though. I will eventually go single again but for now i'm reamoving all emissions crap and the a/c over the winter. thats when i'll add the downpipe, highflow cat, and EMS. then i'll need a good tune from steve kan.

Nice! Very clean FD, from the pics the interior looks spotless and so is the engine bay.

Oh and I like the battery.

Sideways_S2k 10-27-2006 06:01 PM

well he was a certified rotary tech.... i got copies of his certs and even got his phone number. i talked to him for a while and he knows his stuff. he took extensive classes on the FD and has been working on them for years. he said if anything happens to this car he will personally pick it up from my house and take it to his shop (has his own business). not some kid either. i got it for a very good price:) this guys house was hhhhuuuugge.

8 car garage, and 10 cars! he just wanted to sell this so he could have more room.

Sideways_S2k 10-27-2006 06:04 PM

haha thanks racer... pfc680... great little battery. the car is very clean... paint is very glossy.. a few dents on the outside, interior is perfect. a little wear on the driver side bolster but no rips or anything.

Sideways_S2k 10-27-2006 06:24 PM

1 billion dollars...... oh wait, never mind it was 14k. thats a very good price for something in this shape with a new motor/clutch w/ warranty.... this is my project car... just sits in the garage.

Kuz 10-27-2006 06:32 PM

Really sweet car... Nice and clean and looks to be in great shape! Good luck with it!

Renegade_ 10-27-2006 06:34 PM

If you don't mind me asking, (not a rotorhead) what exactly do you mean when you say 12-10-12 boost pattern? Does it have to do with a twin turbo solenoid configuration to adjust boost due to RPMs or something?

Sideways_S2k 10-27-2006 06:53 PM

well it is a sequential twin turbo system. stock psi is 10-8-10. this is so the power comes on earlier in the rpm range then tappers off a little and the the 2nd turbo comes on in the higher rpms.
