Well you could just down shift.

272sWrx 03-30-2006 09:37 PM

To bad its price is 91000.

BlackBulletTSi 03-31-2006 12:40 AM

That price is ridiculous and yea I was thinking about that what the **** gear was he in for that pull against the rental car. That had to be a ratings thing and to cause a contreversy. I remember in work today I'm like hey Mike(my boy) I just watched a video of an EVO keeping up with a lambo mer on a road course he spazed and said no way lol

Evolved 03-31-2006 02:16 AM

FQ Evo's are not worth the money. You could build a much better Evo for a fraction of the cost.

04GTRACER 03-31-2006 03:49 AM

You could build a better Evo, but you beat come warranty time.

He said he was in top gear so I imagine he was in 6th??? I'm pretty sure they are six speeds. Anyway, I just want me a set of those wheels.

Yeah, there's a handfull of us on this site that are packing over 400 crank horsepower. It doesn't take 70 grand to do. I think the price is there to scare off the idiots and young kids.

silver05bullet 03-31-2006 10:46 AM

definitely doesnt take 70 grand to push 400 crank horsepower, 9BALL, me, Evo8You were all around there

This is a little of topic but did you get dyno numbers yet? I’m curious what your 9 is making.

Those things make power with very few mods.

evo8power 04-01-2006 09:38 PM

Dont forget the FQ400 already comes with a Motec M-800, upgraded turbo, manifold, and a bunch of other things that make it just as easy to up the HP as our regular EVO's. Not saying it's worth the money, but that car has huge potential with the parts that are already installed.
