nice!! i wouldnt expect that thing to be a 430hp srt just from the pics.... good work man
thought by your avatar that this was the autostrada and scott lindenbaum car glad you made the best of it and still own it.
wowzers, that's crazy. I've ridden in a car with unknown numbers, but it has a mods list pretty extensive like this one. This car HAS to be fast. haha
looks good too. do you have any night pictures of the tail lights? I've never seen those before. |

Very impressed to see how far this car has come since you bought it. Can't wait to see new dyno and track numbers.
The guy who owns the world's fastest Stealth (the white one that was on passtimes) bought a Gallardo a while back, and just recently built up a client's SRT-4, and proceeded to get blown away by it from 45-120. The SRT-4 has about the same power as yours, maybe 10HP more in street trim. Pretty effing sweet, lol.
Yeh, I can't wait to get it on the dyno again and to the track. It's been a long time coming. That's pretty funny doc. hah
Some more pics of the motor build: http://photos-c.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-...85202_4765.jpg http://photos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-...85201_5783.jpg http://photos-f.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-...04261_8401.jpg http://photos-h.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-...04255_6259.jpg |
So I'm finally content with my setup after a little more extra help from N2MB (thank you Jay!). I took the car out for some logging and got this 3rd gear pull.
http://degster.com/srt/holypoo.gif Engine Load is PSI At 15 seconds the car is going 45mph (2.9psi) At 18 seconds the car is going 61mph (11.3psi) From 18 seconds the rise in mph is ~10mph per second! :wah?!: According to some calculations this comes to 511hp at the wheels |
Nice and jay DEFINITELY knows his ****, id send ANYONE to him.
nice, i love sleepers. G/L getting to 500WHP

It's def over 500hp at 25psi. Jay initially tuned tuned the car over a year ago, but I've since done the above engine work. It was tuned on a dyno, and then tweaked remotely by Jay to get it safely up to 25psi. He's ridiculously good with the EMS's!
Those wheels are terrible. Needs some welds with DRs or slicks...

There ya go! The rears are still hideous haha
Not a fan of the fanning, chrome, five spokes, but then again ****'s fast so it really don't matter haha |
im telling ya my tail lights would look so much better with your current setup

went to the track last night and ran a 12.42 @ 118mph. Need some more practice and a little tweaking to the tune. Couldn't get it out of the hole all night.
what were your 60'?

looks sick dude...now get them issues worked out and the launch and hit those 11's
Thanks!
After looking at the logs more carefully, it's obvious the slicks were spinning off the line! Going to have to test some 2 step settings and learn to drive it a little better! |
I would do some more logging and check for a boost leak. if that car is over 500 horse it should be trapping atleast 125 to 130 mph. With that kind of power and a low 60ft that easily a low 11 second car. really nice build for sure.
That's another thing I need to do, just to be sure. Thanks :)
any plans to go higher with boost? at 24psi a 35r is just coming to life. that turbo has a lot left in it for sure. what type of fuel are you using for the race gas tune?
looking at your location have you considered switching to e-85? That car would be a monster on e-85. coming from the evo community there are alot of people making well over 600hp with 35r's just swapping over to e-85. that car must be a beast from a roll.

That's another thing I have to do - tune it better with race gas. Quote:
Another fuel pump and 1000-1200cc injectors are required as well as having the ability to tune for them. Also you need to have e85 locally available because if not it will become a big hassle to have it when you need it.
Wow, Scott Lindenbaum got you too. He took me for about a grand. :( I know it is old news now but I only just ready through the linked thread.
Wow how did he get you?
get some 1200's and some q-16. that car will boogie down the track. it would be a 10 second car with that addition for sure. i brought up e-85 because i saw west chester in your location. running e-85 is equal to running 104 octane all the time. its cheaper than 93 octane but you will use roughly 30% more fuel. if you have the ability to easily switch maps it would be something to research. like a previous poster said the biggest downfall would be if you were not near any stations but if you have map switching it wouldn't be a problem. in the winter time you need to switch back to pump anyway due to the cold weather dropping the ethanol content. i am actually in the process of getting a set of 1200's for my evo to convert. with your set up you could pick up another 60 to 80 hp easily.

I'm not sure what he does for a living. Probably lives well by stealing people's money.
