i agree...

our specs get about 155whp 160wtq stock....our cars are notorious for dynoing low numbers....compared to our claimed numbers of 175hp 180tq...our motor is also not known for big gains from aftermarket products

only a few specs have reached 200whp n/a....they're fully bolted and then some...

im estimating near the 200's at the crank...but that is not WHP. im gonna dyno sometime and see

evomike 02-25-2008 06:00 PM

Ahhh turbotrix and their dyno numbers, I wonder how many other cars that day put those exact numbers down. Anyway on low boost and straight pump gas I'm at 445 whp, once the motor goes back in ill see what it'll really do

I'm only putting down close to 700 with my STS kit, I plan on going with an F1A and meth when I get home from Iraq.

I should be in the low 12's but that's if you have a really experienced person behind the wheel... so i still think it'd be a good one

Then all 3 of us should go. :) I should be near mid 12's with DR's

ea idk 295's pretty hhard to belive. thats a lot of horsepower for a car that only comes around 220hp stock i think. With just my giac chip im supposed to be around 320 crank hp and 390 ft/lbs. I also have the full exhaust, intake, front mount, boost controller and y pipe. I'm guessing at 22psi around 340whp and close to 400ft/lbs.
You are gonna need a stage 3- and some k04's to get 340whp. Back in the day, when I was on the stock turbos and stock fueling, sans FMIC etc. I dyno'd 310/340ish (wheel).

I should be sitting at just over 400/470wheel now.

I basiclly am stage 3- then becasue i had rt tuning replace the turbos with k03/k16's. A little bigger than the stock k03 and can supposedly create as much power as a k04

TwilightBlueFox 02-26-2008 10:49 PM

Last June I dynoed 217/275, the mods I've done since then should put me at almost 240 if you believe the manufacturers claims, but I think its more around 230. Can't wait to see what it makes when the AFR 165's go on next month!

Does anyone else think it's funny that our unit for measuring power is still Horse?
