And if your in PA and this was recent.. Your going to be getting a notice from the IRS in the mail saying you have to prove your purchase with a bill of sale.

There cracking down on it. i'm having this trouble with my jeep that i just sold... and i legitimetley boughbt it for the good price i got it for.

A bill of sale is the easiest thing in the world to obtain, and you can put any number you want on it. A bill of sale doesnt actually PROVE anything.

It says on this letter in front of me from the IRS provide a bill of sale..... what do you expect me to do get a letter head on it to?

its a 15 year old car lol, they would expect me to pay 700 for it. and how recent is recent o.o? like last december recent?

You honestly think they don't know what a car should be worth? Go to the dr and get yourself fixed, you probally should add to the gene pool.

yea i expect them to know. however there are many factors that they cant expect. like how the engine is, how the paint is, ect. there's alot of things that can bring down the price of the car. the blue book of my car is 1,500~4,500. thats for mint condition. the avg someone buys a DSM for is like under 1,000. http://www.kbb.com/used-cars/mitsubi...mileage=198660
