Is there a good timimg belt kit for a D15B7 out there?

OK, can you Honda guys help a subie guy out? My GF's car needs the water pump replaced and I might as well do the timing belt while I'm in there. She just drives the car to work, no racing or high performance stuff.

I was just gonna go with a whatever brand water pump from Advance Auto/Autozone. Is there somewhere out there that has a set with the timing belt and all tensioners etc needed?

Oh BTW 95 civic (DX i think?) D15B7 single cam non vtec

^^^^ while i agree with using honda parts usually, they arent needed honestly. Its a d15 man. Its not going to take that much abuse. I ran one from pepboys for over a year and that consisted of hundreds or not thousands of 8K launches lol. If it were to be more of a powerful car that you need to be able to take the abuse, I would run honda. Otherwise just a waste of money.

Go to NAPA and get a timing belt kit (comes with belt and tensioner) and a water pump.

I only use Honda parts when replacing functional engine parts.

I used one Autozone water pump once, and that turned out to be a bad idea, the little thing that spins that sucks the coolant on the inside started grinding away at itself, leaving faint traces of metal shavings floating in the coolant, not good, seeing as how it just might start to block coolant passages in the head over time, as well as fail pre-maturely. If you want to use Auto Zone parts, than get their light bulbs, there great! Lol
