stock d16y7-no spark/no injector pulse?

i recently picked up a 98 civic ex. i knew it needed a head gasket, and some front end work, but after completing the head gasket job yesterday, i have no spark, and no injector pulse? any ideas on what could be causing that? while replacing the head gasket, i replaced timing belt/waterpump/idler/tensioner, and timing is right, and firing order is correct. i know of some distributer issues with these cars, but i'm new to hondas so if anyone can help, i'd appreciate it!
thanks,
joe

If you don't have spark or pulse your not getting a signal from the ecu. Check to make sure the ecu fuse is good. Then see your fuel pump is kicking on when you turn the Key. If not you could have burned up the main relay behind your dash.

thanks for the heads up, i found that the ecu had a loose connection. it seems to be fine now.
