broke my strut mount stud.

i broke a stud on my strut mount and im driving one 2 i was wondering should i get it fixed asap or would it be ok since i have the other 2 bolted up i mean the weight of the car sit on them..i was installing coilover and my buddy broke it...would i be ok just driving on 2 insted of 3? its for a 08 civic si

I broke one and i had mine bolted up with a lock washer and two nuts until my new hardware came in

yea i wont be able to change my out...dont have the tool i had when i did the coilover set up..that why i asked if it gonna be a problem i went to a couple shop and they tell me it gonna be 200 bucks to replace it. and i have the top hat all i need them to do it switch it out. i was thinkin bout just driving it like that i mean its not goin anywhere

it might put un-needed stress on the other bolts though causing them to snap.

you have to figure you pay for the part,labor,the tools they use if its shop provided,they air they have to use,the lights,the lift.
I work at pepboys i do this talk a lot.

i put it this way, there are 3 studs there for a reason. they do the research on this kind of stuff and if it was tested that they only needed 2 studs, thats how many would be there. just something to think about.
