keep breaking axles

i havea 97 jetta gt its lowered . since ive had it ive broken 2 axles. and im not beating on it at all....

where is the axel breaking at? This info will be necessary.... From the way the axle is designed, ride height shouldnt lead to them breaking.

well the first one broke on the outer part of the of the axle then the one i broke today broke on the inside...

take it back to stock ride height and see if you break anymore... that way you can get to the root of the issue faster.

what are you lowered on? if coils how low are they? i was breaking axles because of a combo of coils too low, and wheel and tire size.

On stock ride hide, in most cases, the axle sits horizontal to the ground or almost horizontal. Lowering the car causes it to sit at a slant, which puts stress on the CV joints causing wear.

i have a supersport cup kit. but i replaced my axle like 3 weeks ago and used aftermarket bolt on the tranny side. i talked to my buddy josh at keystone european he told me to order vw stock replacement bolts and the clips that go between each bolt. when the axle broke this time it looks like the bolts just fell out of the tranny side. Anyway thanks for everyones help ill let you guys know if it happens again for more help if i need it.
