Well now that im actually putting big bucks into my car i figured i would start a member journal to track my progress.

I purchased this car 3 years ago in NJ after my prelude was totaled.

It was a Garage kept MINT 93 VR4 That i found in the middle of nowhere in Frenchtown NJ.

The car came with a set of O.Z Racing F-1 Wheels

Once i picked up the car i promptly did the 120K and then started the mods

I added

A walboro 255
Apexi Safc2
DSM Pocketlogger with palm
Tubo XS MBC at 15PSI
Greddy type RS BOV
Gutted precats with a 3inch race pipe
3sx 3inch downpipe
New Powdercoated ypipe
Deft Racing A pillar replacement with 3 Pods
Prosport Oil pressure, Boost, fuel pressure eleteric blue's
Apex-i turbo timer

I may be forgetting others

Here is the car as it sits now.

Over time i grew not to like the 1G front end so i decided to go with a full 99 front end with a Novara bumper from Cinaci.

The parts are on their way and within a month or two the car will be transformed into this work of art.

Im keeping the car white with a OEM style CF hood.

Once i finish the front end i plan on doing the cars turbos.

This will be a long build to come. I plan on making this car a show car while still giving it enough power to run 11's

should look cool, but I think it'll look better if you stick with a painted hood, or paint the CF hood.

I can always have the hood painted. Im definately going CF though. these things need all the weight reduction that they can get.

I think the car looks great the way it is now! But I DO like the look of the exposed headlights though.

hmm 2g dsm pocketloggers work on these? I have one that i need to sell but never gave it thought. Cars going to look great with the new front end, i agree with the other guy on painting the carbon hood.

The car took a trip to shades of gray today. Ryan and his buddies did an amazing job on the car. Here are some of my pics that i took with my camera. Ryan took a few for his website and im sure his will look better.

This ones not about tint however i figured i would snap a pic of my cianci pillar. They are the same guys that make my new front end. Clean install

haha man, you must have some different tint laws in jersey. there's no way i'd get away with 5%

they are worse in jersey.. you cant even pass real inspection here with any tint. I dont drive the car more then once or twice a month so im not too worried about it.

You blacked out your license in one pic but forgot the others. Also 5% kicks ass. I have that on my car and it's just the best. Sometimes I have to put the windows down to backup, but that's a worthy sacrifice.
