Cusco show/bolt in cage saves lives on the track? Yes sir!

**fellow friends car from Nasioc, very interesting that the bolt in show cage kept the roof in tact even after the car flipped and rolled 3+ times***

The one you posted ray doesn't look nearly as bad....

As per the owner who posted it, he feels that it was the cage that saved him. Idk, I wasn't there nor have I ever flipped a car. I guess i'd take the person involved in the crash's word before anyone elses.

How about the ring design in the pillars to re enforce each corner. Its great that he survived but the cage had very little to do with it. Same thing happend at that SubieSport event last year to the Black WRX with the 35R And Im pretty sure the guy walked away with a broken finger and no cage.

My brother's friend rolled his explorer 4 times the other week and walked away. I also don't think the cage helped. Who know's, any interior pictures.

No, it's just wrong that you're second-guessing yourself!

That cage did nothing. You can see in the pics that the car's structure itself prevented the roof from comming down. The sheetmetal would of wrapped around the bar if the cage did in fact offer support. Bolt in cages are a joke. Good for showcars....not racecars.

I thought about that, too but after I saw the rest of the car it kind of threw me off.
