What defines a "hot" car.

I'm just curious to what the tuner world has come to. I dunno if I am getting old or something but I just dont get the trends anymore. I was raised on the ideal that less is more. I think I hold to it very well. But I also enjoy going against the grain, staying away from whats popular and making it work. I also feel like a car should have an even balance performance and style. What does TST think a great car is defined by.

in all seriousness a clean car, subtle appearance mods, no giant huge body kit, no 22's, clean cars.

it depends on the car, i don't think there's anything that can be generally stated for a hot car.
you just kind of know it when you see it. But whether or not your car is hot to you is really all that matters.

i don't mind stickers unless its a hardcore track only car. Not the free K&N sticker everyone gets.

What makes a car hot from the factory or what makes a car hot when modded/personalized?

I think wheels and fitment make the car. Just my opinion. I can't stand black wheels with the chrome/polished lip, though.
Body kits are EW but a subtle lip makes it look great, also.
I agree with Bill about it depending on the car, though. Just because a Daewoo has nice wheels, doesn't classify it as hot.
