to swap or not to swap

ok so i happen to have a obd0 b16 and trans laying around and for the longest time ive been fixated on selling both. my car did not run due to a missing relay which discouraged me from swapping it. anyway im not really huge on swapped honda's since they still arent really that fast and my sedan is ugly. also my motor is barebones so id have to go around sourcing parts for it which isnt a big deal its just a pain. so on to my question/poll what would the honda owners in the tristate area do:

source the parts and swap and have a neat sedan thats still pretty slow (im also working with a pretty tight budget of alittle under 500 so finding parts taht are the right price might be a bit harder)

or

continue trying to sell both and try and find a different car

How much does the car weigh? To me, swapping a B16 into anything over 2300lbs isnt really worth it, as it will still only run a high 15 second 1/4. If youre interested in selling it, shoot me a PM since Im in the market for one for my friends CRX.

If it were me- if you dont like the car, why bother putting any money into it? Making in a little faster isnt going to make you want to keep it, and you'd probably be better off selling the car and motor separate.

yeah its my first car and ive had it for quite some time now. it would be a fun car if it had more than 93 horsepower. plus it wouldnt sound like a turd as much. i dunno i still love my car but when it gives me trouble it sucks. i just fixed the only problem ive ever had with it so it should have a lot of life left in it. im going to put some more thought into it and ill see what becomes of it.

Keep the sedan. Use it as a daily driver. Leave it alone. Pick yourself up a CRX as a project car and put the B16A in that. What else does the B16 need to add up to a complete swap?

was thinking about it today, it deffinately needs a lot. im pretty sure i still need:

dizzy
alternator
starter
harness
injectors
ecu
axles+intermediate shafts
mounts
shift linkage

thats all i can think of right now im pretty sure it needs more though. i bought the motor with JUST intake manifold and exhaust manifold. the only other thing on it was the vtec solenoid. if anyone can think of anything else i need to get please chyme in. but yeah its deffinately way out of my budget right now but luckily i get paid soon. and finding a crx is easier said than done. ideally thats what i would want but might as well source parts now so if i do find a crx thats less i need to buy then. anyone know where i can get a crx shell?

You can find everything you need on Ebay and Honda-tech. Just search it out. When theres a will theres a way.

Yeah, 90-93 Integra. Grab the axles and intermediate shaft. Even if you could find a OBD-0 B16a harness thats missing wires or broken plugs, that would work as long as it had the necessary Vtec wiring still intact (you'll have to re-use your existing D-series harness anyway and mate them together). The alternator, injectors, rail, IM, distributor etc.. could all be sourced from people on here or Honda-tech or ebay. There is a junkyard up 611 N called Swamps that I frequently visit. They have a few 90-93 Integras with their engine/drivetrain still intact. Number is 610-294-2941.

yeah im currently talking to some people on honda tech about the swap. apparently i can rig a ls dizzy to work by breaking off an arm. and i got down to look at my motor i dont need as much as i thought i did, if i find a junked teg i should be able to get just about everything i need except the vtec harness, ecu and mounts. im going to check out shorty's u pull it since its right down the street, however if they dont have a teg im deffinately goin to check out swamps. thanks for the input i appreciate it.
